If I click on the Visit Topic link in email it takes me to a page asking to log in
When I click log in (though I am already logged in i another tab)

that’s strange…all the nginx-stuff is done in the container, built the way it is every time the “app” is rebuilt. any changes i make would be undone once that happens, means every time it’s updated.
normally the web server redirects http –> https when one arrives at the non-encrypted URL. but “http” shouldn’t be used in those mails. that i can probably change.
just tried it and the URL in the email really says “http://…” only. my browser (vivaldi) took me to https://… anyway, but that depends on the browser and / or settings.
not feeling very well today, don’t know why, upset stomach & weak, but will get to this later.
can’t find a setting for that in the admin GUI; neither in the config file. some more research needed i’m afraid.
in the meantime i’m trying out email-in again, so i’m mentioning my test-user here @test-user to get an email sent.
