hare krsna @Pancharatna.das prabhu,
i’ve mentioned earlier that i want to include additional themes or topics in the ISKCON connection newsletter. i spoke to seva svarupa pr. about this and he agrees in principle, but the details need to be worked out: who provides articles, how to prepare material, how to include it in the newsletter.
most of our newsletter receivers are congregational devotees i believe and there’s already cooperation with ISKCON-online and -connection projects, like the list of registered ISKCON members.
i’ve invited seva to join this forum and asked him to include other members of the ministry since i don’t think i still know many of them personally anymore. i have been working for CDM in the past and got some basic understanding of the subject, but that’s many years ago…
seva svarupa just informed me that they, CDM, do not want their articles to be included in the ISKCON connection newsletter. they have a team deciding these things, and the team said no. i’ve removed the CDM content from the current newsletter, of course.
i’m not sure what other content could be included, have to keep thinking about it…
there was a misunderstanding between seva svarupa and his management team and finally they did agree to include CDM topics in our newsletter – @Vamsidhara.jps is part of that team i believe.
@Pancharatna.das did not comment on this idea yet, but i’ve included a small section with some ‘about’ topics from the CDM website. i think this is a valuable addition to the newsletter, specially since topics like bhakti steps, bhakti kids, and bhakti-vriksha are also part of the mininstry.
if you haveobjections @Pancharatna.das i can remove that section from the next newsletter without any fuss…it has been published with CDM section and is available at this address:
